Travel Challenges Solved and Expectations Exceeded
My wife and I recently engaged Patty Krumrey from Scottsdale, Az. to assist in our South America trip (Feb.-March '20). Patty prepared the land arrangements before and after an Oceania cruise in Buenos Aires and by emergency, in Miami after disembarkation. She arranged excursions and our hotel stay in Buenos Aires (Park Hyatt) prior to boarding the ship. Her first hand experience was invaluable. Our cruise on Oceania was unfortunately redirected during the Coronavirus lockdown and what was initially a 20 day plan turned in to 28 days on board. Peru, then Chile blocked our landing during the early stages of the world wide Coronavirus lockdown in March. This presented us with an enormous challenge finding any flights home. Patty expertly and patiently worked with us under extremely challenging circumstances. While flights and the ship's itinerary were constantly in flux, she worked with the airline (American) to arrange our return to Portland from Miami. We cannot thank her enough for her assistance in this. We would engage her again without hesitation as her knowledge and care are unsurpassed in our opinion.

Tea Time for Ruth!
Patty has scheduled Afternoon Teas for me all over the world; because it is one of my favorite things to do when I travel. Just to name a few places I’ve had Afternoon Tea: The Fairmont Empress Victoria (BC), Ty Gwyn in Gaiman, AR, The Ritz in London, Culloden Estate in Belfast and many other countries. However, when Patty made reservations and INSISTED I have tea at The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh because it really is the BEST IN THE WORLD. Guess what! Patty was right. OK she is always right. She is the travel expert who really knows what she is doing. Your trip will never ever be the same without Patty’s love and knowledge of our wonderful world.

Why Choose When You Can Have it All
Of all of the pictures I took in Orkney, Scotland why am I sharing this picture of an Hungarian Pig? Well…The cruse ship we were on gave us a choice…you either go to Skara Brae, a 5,000 year old Prehistoric Village or to the Italian Chapel built by WWII Italian POWs (and the young Italian painter stayed after the war ended to finish painting the chapel). Well, that is until you have Patty handling your adventure. Patty set us up to meet with a cab service to take us to both places and then drive us all around the island, stopping wherever we wanted. He even shared life on the island. Here is a picture of a Hungarian Pig on one of their farms. Yes it is odd to share this picture with you. However, with Patty there is never a choice…you can always do whatever you want and go wherever you want. Patty has always made our travel the best adventure EVER.
